Glambot review! Why I love it!

Hey Guys welcome back to my blog. (photo for attention)

I thought I would  share with you my Glambot experience as I see a lot of people asking about it. If you dont know what Glambot is, it is essentially a website where you can sell makeup and buy makeup for better prices. The prices are better because these items are second hand. I have ordered from Glambot 14 times now and I still cant stop. Most of my Colourpop collection is from Glambot.

One thing I love about Glambot is they do deals where its anywhere between $1-5 for a certain category and you get sent a surprise item from that category. I have gotten foundations, Mac brushes, Clinique and Chanel products from these deals. So they are always a good thing to add onto your sales. I will add a few of my favourite product links on here for you guys to check out! Let me know what you think. Also if you guys buy anything let me know and tell me what you guys get! I recently did some shopping and got myself two Mac Pro Lip palettes, does anyone have these? What do you think of them?

Body scrub review! Not your usual body scrub!

Hey there guys

Welcome back to my blog. I am trying to post as often as I can, how often do you guys like to see posts?

Today’s post is about these scrubs by Caim and able.

I tried clementine and coffee and coconut and lime. I definitely prefer the coconut and lime, it is zesty and fresh plus I am starting to get sick of the coffee smell you get left behind with coffee scrubs.

First thing I loved about these scrubs, was the packaging, it’s simple without being boring! A little splash of colour on the white packaging really stands out to me.

Next thing I liked about these, is they contain magnesium to help with aches and pains in your muscles and joints, I get the worst restless legs at night, so this is a blessing. I found a good idea was to have a bath, scrub in the bath and then soak in the fallout; so then you get the full benefits of the magnesium and the coconut oil as well. Careful with any open sores or scratches though because the citrus will sting and irritate it.

Has anyone heard of Caim and able before? Have you tried them?

What do you think?

Let me know what you thought of this blog post guys, what you would change, what you love and so on! I would also love to know anything you want to see a review of.

Hope you enjoyed lovelies, if you don’t already follow me, be sure to give me a follow so you don’t miss any of my future blogs.

All these face oils, but which are worth the buy?

Hey guys welcome back to my blog. I had a look through my skincare and found so many skin oils. There are so many on the market right now; chia oil, coconut oil, Rosehip oil and even kiwi seed oil.
So pretty much the point of this post is to help You decide which are worth the buy. These three are some of my favourites at the moment. My number 1 is the antipodes kiwi seed oil serum. I got this one from Priceline and I would definitely recommend the buy, it isn’t that oily but definitely is moisturising. Most oils I use at night, but this one I use in the day. It has a lovely light smell as well. Next up would be the chia seed oil, both the chia seed oil and the Rosehip oil I really don’t like as much, the smells are quite strange and they make me break out quite a bit instead of improving my skin. Instead of going straight for these oils I would suggest an oil based moisturiser. This would give you the benefits without having to feel like you’ve rubbed your face on a pizza.

Is anyone a fan of these? Or do you have one you like more?

Current skincare regime ✨

Hey guys welcome back to my blog.

Today I will be telling you about my current skincare regime, if your anything like me, you are constantly searching for the perfect skincare products. Whether it be the perfect cleanser, that cleans deep without drying out your skin or even the perfect spot cream or serum to get rid of those annoying hormonal pimples. I myself suffer from mild acne, I have my good skin days and my bad. My 19th birthday was just over a week ago and for my birthday I got a few vouchers, so I did some shopping! My first stop was Mecca maxima, while I was there I got some help from staff on skincare products they recommend. Luckily the lovely lady I got also had combination skin like me, so she told me what she used. Long story short I ended up buying; philosophy skincare purity cleanser, which is currently a cult favourite. Mario badescu drying lotion and buttermilk moisturiser. I had heard of the drying lotion before and was pretty eager to try it.  All three of the products I bought were cheap for higher end brands. They were all about $20 each, which isn’t a lot compared to drug store products which can be close to the same price, but no where near the quality.

I have been using these since the night I got them, after three days I could already see a big difference in my skin.

I would definitely recommend these products to anyone looking for some new products to try. I will definitely be buying them again.

Has anyone tried these before?

If so what did you think of them?

If not, will you consider trying them now?

My first Microdermabrasion. My review and would I ever get one again!

Hey guys so yesterday I got my first microdermabrasion. I was so nervous before I went, I imagined it being painful. However it wasn’t at all, it was actually super relaxing. I was lucky enough to be brought in by recreate yourself known as to try out this service in their new Gold Coast store.

Emma at the brickworks store was absolutely lovely and very helpful with any questions I had about the service, post care and skincare that will help improve my skin. I was very impressed with not only the service itself but how accomodating all the ladies at the brickworks store were. During my visit I was able to see how helpful all the staff were with other guests whether it be recommending skincare or beauty products, makeup shades to suit skin, hair or eye colours as well.

During my service Emma made sure I was always comfortable and that the microdermabrasion wasn’t too rough on my skin.

This is definitely something I would love to do again. Even after one treatment I could already see a difference in my skin, it was softer and more radiant. I am looking forward to getting more treatments to help improve in acne scarring and open pores.

As well the lovely Aimee a gave me an amazing offer to give to my lovely followers.

If you are one of my international followers and can’t get to the Gold Coast store for a service you can use the code TBJ15 to get $15 off your first order when you spend $99 or more.

Weird and Wacky Beauty Tips! Get rid of blackheads with ease!

Hey Guys,

So while trying to find myself some handy skincare and beauty tips, I thought I should share some for anyone trying to find them as well.

So this lot of tips will be to get rid of pesky blackheads!

Tip #1

things you’ll need;

  • vaseline
  • gladwrap
  • tissue
  • 2 face washers ( wash cloths)

This is best to do after washing your face with warm water, so your pores are open.

Apply a thick coat of Vaseline on the desired area, Cover the area with glad wrap.

Next you use the face washers after you have put them under hot water, hold the against the glad wrap. Doing this retains the heat and softens the pores and blackheads.

After five minutes remove the face washers and the glad wrap. Then use the tissues to gently squeeze the area affected, after a few squeezes, if their are some left don’t continue to squeeze as you can damage the capillaries.

Tip #2

Things you’ll need;

-1 egg
-Facial tissue or toilet paper
-A small bowl
-A clean towel

Separate the yolk from the white and rinse your face. Pat your face dry and then apply a thin layer of egg white over your skin. There are two ways to go from here-

Place a strip of facial tissue or toilet paper over the wet egg white, being sure to press it onto your face gently. Allow the first layer to dry. Carefully apply a second layer of egg white over the tissue (try dipping your fingers in it and dabbing it on so the tissue doesn’t slide around a bunch. Let this layer dry as well before applying a third (optional.) When the mask is dry, your face may feel tight-this is supposed to happen. Peel the tissue off, and then gently wash your face to remove any residue. Pat dry and moisturize as usual.

Alternatively, you can leave out the tissue and simply apply 3-5 layers of egg white, being sure to let each layer dry in between applications. If you do not let the layers dry, this will not work!

Tip #3

Things you’ll need;

-1 lemon
-cotton balls
-A small bottle

Rinse your face and pat dry. Squeeze the lemon juice into a small bottle and then use just enough to dampen a cotton ball. Apply to affected areas 3-4 times a week, at bedtime. When you wake up, rinse your face with luke-warm water and apply moisturizer as usual. Store the rest of the juice in the refrigerator for up to a week. Be aware-the juice can sting sometimes!
